When you think about it, everything in the universe is unique. We certainly are, and that’s what makes the world so richly diverse. I’m doing two photo challenges this week. The first one, this one, is of some things that I’ve found unique and have felt the need to photograph. The second one, soon to follow, is of something unique that someone else had done and I happened to stumbled upon it, camera in hand. Here’s the first WordPress Weekly Photo Challenge: Unique.
A large sun star with a missing leg.
The intricate design in the petals of a Foxglove.
A piling worn to a skeleton by wind and waves.

It’s the unique things we find which make them so special.. Love that Moth.. such beautiful coloring and velvety-like appearance.
Wonderful pics to remind us that uniqueness is a indeed a good thing!
Thanks, Lynne. So true. It is the unique things that are so special to us.
I thought the moth was beautiful too. It’s also quite large, about he size of a small bird, and fairly rare around these parts.
